Shipping chocolate and heat sensitive products during the warmer months (75 F or above) will be replaced with other gourmet food of equal or greater value or our prices are adjusted accordingly.

Shipping charges are charged per location. The total of the order going to each location will be charged the following shipping charges.

No Charge Pick-up
Some of our products can be picked up at our local UPS store (Littleton, Colorado). These items include gift baskets, gift boxes, some Christmas ornaments, some vases, and frames. If we have items in stock or make them here you can pick up at no charge. This must be arranged ahead of time and we will adjust your shipping charges.
We use UPS shipping and also United States Postal Service Priority Mail. The most cost-effective method will be used for shipments. Orders of multiple items may come in different shipments from different locations. We partner with craftsman throughout the state and some items will be shipped directly from their location. We use hand-delivery service for gift baskets and gift boxes in the Denver metro area.

We ship within 1 to 3 business days unless otherwise noted. Some items are custom made to order and require more time. This will be noted on the item. Note that the date you specify is our “ship date”. We don’t have control over the arrival date unless you specify a ship date in the Denver Metro area where we can hand-deliver on the specified day. That primarily applies to gift baskets and gift boxes.
Gifts from Colorado is bound to the rules and regulations of each carrier. Once the carrier receives the package, we have no control over the actual delivery time. We declare that once the package has been handed to the shipping carrier that liability of the package no longer lies with us. We are therefore not liable for lost or stolen merchandise. Gifts from Colorado will not refund or reship any package that has been marked as “Delivered” by the carrier even if recipient claims non-receipt. It is possible that the package was left with neighbors, behind a bush, in the garage, between the doors etc. We suggest that the recipient contact the delivering carrier to verify where the parcel was placed.
Gifts from Colorado has no control over a carrier’s decision if your location is considered “safe” to leave a package. If this happens the carrier will leave a notice notifying you that an attempt was made for delivery. You must follow the carrier’s directions on the notice for delivery of your package. If any package is returned to Gifts from Colorado for any reason, no refund will be issued.
Cancellation / Change Policy
We try to honor order changes and cancellations and will do so as long as the order is not in process, within the first few hours of placing the order.
There will be a $12.00 fee assessed for any address corrections made by our carrier in order to ensure proper delivery of the package. Gifts from Colorado cannot accept responsibility for incorrect or incomplete addresses. The $12.00 fee will be charged to your original form of payment. Gifts from Colorado will not issue a refund for packages refused by the recipient, incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses.
E-mail contact information
We add our customers to our e-mail database. We send occasional e-mail correspondence about new products and special offers. We also use this information to contact you regarding your order.
Perishable and fragile products (flowers, food, balloons and most gift baskets) cannot be returned. These products will be replaced if they arrive damaged. Non-perishable items can be returned at your expense after contacting our Customer Service department and shipped at the customer’s expense. We will not refund shipping expenses.
